Full Job Description

Job Overview

TCH Omaha branch is looking for a full-time Welder/ Metal Fabricator to fabricate and weld steel door frames following company quality standards. Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 3:30 PM (during normal business hours).

Essential Job Functions

Weld steel door frames
Grind and finish steel doors and frames
Cut/prep/deburr doors and frames to proper specifications
Pull material for fabrication
Use various shop tools and welders to complete job tasks
Other duties as assigned

Skills Requirements

Mig welding, 220V experience
Experience using various shop tools like electric grinder, jigsaw, circular saw, radial arm saw, etc.
Forklift certified, or willing to become certified
Accurately read tape measure
Basic understanding of TCH work orders, paperwork, etc.
Ability to read and comprehend templates
Basic understanding of industry nomenclature
Favorable results from a pre-employment drug screen and physical

Working Conditions

Warehouse environment is subject to temperature changes, on your feet most of the day. Also involves: bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, push/ pull and constant use of hands with repetitive motions. Lift 10-50 lbs, regularly, 100 lbs +, occasionally.
