Full Job Description

Advanced Dermatologic Surgery is seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant (MA) with strong multitasking skills to join our fast-paced skin cancer surgery clinic. This is a full-time position working directly with patients in a Mohs Surgery clinic, assisting with Mohs and other dermatologic procedures.

You'll work in a fun, team-oriented environment with competitive pay, full benefits, paid holidays, and no weekends or nights. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy patient care, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule
Four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Occasional Friday shifts required.

What You'll Do

Room patients, take vitals, and document medical histories
Assist physicians during Mohs surgery and other dermatologic procedures
Set up and break down procedure rooms, maintaining a sterile field
Prepare surgical trays, instruments, and supplies
Provide patient education on wound care and post-procedure instructions
Handle specimen labeling and processing
Keep accurate records in our EMR system [eClinicalWorks]

What We're Looking For

Prior dermatology, surgical, or clinical experience a plus (we're willing to train the right candidate)
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and a calm, professional manner with patients
A team player who thrives in a busy environment
