The Fort Worth The Fort Worth Club is a Private Social Club in downtown Fort Worth consisting of restaurants, hotel rooms, banquet rooms, and state of the Art Wellness and Longevity Center. Currently ranked the number 5 city club nationwide by “Platinum Clubs of America”. The Club was founded in 1885 and has earned a unique place in the history of Fort Worth and Tarrant County. The Fort Worth Club is seeking a dedicated and professional Line Cook to join our esteemed culinary team. Reporting to the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and Executive Chef, this role is responsible for opening and closing assigned stations, executing prep lists, maintaining long-term bulk product items, and consistently producing high-quality food in a clean and safe environment. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, including holidays and special events.

As a Line Cook, you will work collaboratively with fellow chefs, cooks, and stewards in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You’ll be expected to maintain a professional demeanor around members and guests, always prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include working any station as assigned, following standardized recipes and verbal instructions, and ensuring food meets high standards of taste, texture, and presentation. You’ll manage inventory par levels, rotate stock for freshness, and minimize waste through proper storage techniques.

Daily duties include setting up and breaking down your station, maintaining cleanliness, and participating in sanitation routines. A valid nationally accredited Food Handlers Card is required. You’ll also assist with stock requisitions, report equipment issues, and help resolve member or guest concerns.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and committed to continuous improvement in kitchen operations.

Applicants must possess an outgoing personality, integrity, and a respectful attitude toward others. Punctuality, teamwork, and the ability to follow directions are essential. Physical requirements include standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lbs for extended periods.
