Ideal fit for GRO:

Two (2) year’s experience in landscape installation + a valid driver’s license
Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR)

Responsibilities:

Job Supervision:

Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to back hoes, bobcats, tillers, sod cutters, weed eaters, plant augers, chain saws, and drills.
Operates automatic and stick shift vehicles, such as dump trucks and truck and trailer combinations. Responsible for driving crew to jobsites.
Operate hand, electric and gas-powered landscape equipment.
Perform digging for grading, trenching and plant installation.
Move soil, rocks and debris.
Assist with installation of paver patios, retaining walls and irrigation systems.
Conduct loading, unloading and carrying of materials.
Assists the Project Manager & Site Supervisor in interacting with clients by way of answering questions, responding to client requests and making reasonable changes to the plan.
Assists in completing the necessary paperwork including timesheets, work orders, change orders and material requisitions.
Ensures that job is completed in the most time-efficient manner.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.
Supervise layout and installation per customer proposals and plans

Colleague Supervision:

Assists the Project Manager in leading a crew of technicians, communicating to the Project Manager about personnel issues, and assisting in the training of employees on policies and procedures.
Teaches and leads in the correct company safety standards
Ensure safety protocol is adhered to.
Accomplishes project objectives by offering job site training.
Briefs the Project Manager & Site Supervisor and makes recommendations on job status, personnel issues, or client concerns.

Schedule:

8- 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday. Evening and weekend work during a snow and ice events.
