Full Job Description

Join a growing precision steel fabrication company! 1st and 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, self-motivated individual to join our fabrication team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing quality work, and can work independently while collaborating with fellow team members to meet production goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Operate LVD and Mitsubishi CNC fiber laser cutting systems
Create and optimize material nests for maximum efficiency
Load and unload sheet steel and monitor production throughout the cutting process
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
Maintain production records and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
Assist with other fabrication and shop duties as needed to complete customer orders
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

Experience operating LVD, Mitsubishi, or similar CNC laser cutting equipment is preferred
Experience in steel fabrication or precision manufacturing
Ability to read blueprints and understand fabrication drawings
Proficient with measuring tools and quality inspection procedures
Forklift experience or willingness to become certified
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while functioning as part of a team
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
