Full Job Description

True Self Recovery provides inpatient detox and outpatient substance use disorder treatment across our Rogers and Holiday Island, Arkansas locations. Our work is grounded in three core values: Authenticity, Purpose, and Empathy — and we're looking for a Regional Clinical Director who embodies them in how they lead.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Clinical Director to lead and oversee clinical operations across True Self Recovery's facilities. This pivotal role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and continuous quality improvement. The ideal candidate is a licensed mental health professional with extensive clinical expertise in substance use disorder treatment, strong supervisory skills, and a passion for elevating clinical standards across inpatient detox and outpatient settings. Join us to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while fostering a collaborative, values-driven clinical environment.

Duties

Provide strategic direction and clinical leadership across all True Self Recovery locations, promoting best practices in SUD/co-occurring disorder treatment and operational efficiency
Supervise counselors, clinicians, and clinical staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, clinical supervision hours, and ongoing professional development
Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid standards where applicable, Arkansas state licensing requirements, and Joint Commission accreditation standards
Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures that enhance quality of care, patient safety, and staff performance
Monitor clinical outcomes through data analysis and quality improvement methodologies, driving measurable enhancements in treatment effectiveness
Collaborate with facility administrators to optimize operational workflows, manage budgets, and control costs effectively across locations
Facilitate training programs on clinical documentation, EMR/EHR systems, healthcare compliance, and case management protocols to ensure staff proficiency
Conduct regular site visits across Rogers and Holiday Island to assess clinical practices, address challenges promptly, and foster a culture of excellence in patient-centered care
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including medical staff, therapists, counselors, and administrative personnel to support comprehensive, whole-person care
Lead utilization management efforts to ensure appropriate resource allocation while maintaining high standards of patient safety
Support crisis intervention and high-acuity clinical decision-making as needed

Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related mental health field (required)
Active, unrestricted Arkansas license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist, with credentialing that permits clinical supervision of counseling staff (e.g., LPC-S, LCSW supervisory designation, or state-recognized equivalent)
Proven leadership experience managing clinical operations across multiple facilities or program sites
Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder and/or co-occurring disorder treatment; experience in detox, residential, or other high-acuity behavioral health settings preferred
Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing counseling or multidisciplinary clinical teams
Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems, HIPAA compliance, and quality improvement processes
Experience managing budgets, staffing models, and operational workflows in complex clinical environments
Familiarity with case management principles and utilization management strategies to optimize patient outcomes and resource use
Working knowledge of Joint Commission standards and Arkansas state licensing requirements for SUD treatment facilities
Exceptional communication skills combined with a proactive, solution-oriented approach in a fast-paced clinical setting

Pay: $77,073.09 - $92,819.21 per year
