Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as an Assistant Cook/Kitchen Help/Restaurant Help and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! This energetic role is perfect for individuals passionate about food preparation, kitchen operations, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. You will support our culinary staff by assisting with food prep, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen workflows. Duties

Assist with food preparation including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients for various dishes
Support cooking processes such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food production to ensure timely meal service
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures to uphold hygiene regulations
Help with food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and safety
Support the kitchen team during high-volume production periods and catering events
Ensure cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment following food safety management guidelines
Assist with meal assembly and serving in accordance with menu specifications and customer needs

Requirements

Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required
Demonstrated experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques
Strong knife skills and familiarity with cooking methods such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling procedures
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and high-volume production practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations
Previous experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus but not mandatory
