Field Marketing Coordinator – Wound Care & Podiatry

Job Overview

We are seeking an outgoing, motivated, and relationship-driven Marketing Coordinator specializing in Wound Care and Podiatry to join our growing healthcare team. This role focuses on building professional relationships within the healthcare community through in-person outreach, networking, and business development activities. The ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people, representing the company at healthcare facilities and industry events, and promoting our wound care and podiatry services directly to physicians, healthcare providers, referral sources, and community partners.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to increase brand awareness, develop strategic partnerships, and expand our presence within the healthcare market through face-to-face engagement and professional networking.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-person visits to physician offices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, and other healthcare organizations to promote wound care and podiatry services.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers, referral coordinators, case managers, discharge planners, and community partners.
Represent the company at healthcare events, trade shows, networking functions, community outreach programs, and industry conferences.
Identify and pursue new referral sources and business development opportunities within the healthcare market.
Deliver presentations and educational materials to healthcare professionals regarding available wound care and podiatry services.
Coordinate outreach initiatives to increase awareness of company services throughout the community.
Track referral activity, maintain outreach records, and provide regular updates on business development efforts.
Collaborate with clinical and leadership teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with organizational goals and patient care objectives.
Conduct market research on local healthcare organizations, competitors, and emerging opportunities to support growth strategies.
Assist in developing promotional materials, brochures, and informational packets for healthcare providers and referral partners.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable with frequent local travel and in-person meetings.
Experience in healthcare marketing, physician relations, business development, sales, or community outreach preferred.
Knowledge of wound care, podiatry, healthcare services, or medical referrals is a plus.
Ability to confidently present information to healthcare professionals and organizational leaders.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Professional appearance and ability to represent the company positively within the healthcare community.
Experience developing and maintaining referral networks preferred.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems for tracking outreach activities.
