Full Job Description

Cleaner’s Supply based in Conklin, NY is America’s Largest Supplier of dry cleaning and tailoring related product to dry cleaners and tailoring operations throughout the United States.

At Cleaner’s Supply, we believe that creating an outstanding customer experience can only happen when you have outstanding people. Due to growth, we are currently searching for a few highly motivated employees with experience in inventory management.

We have an immediate need for an inventory specialist.

Hours: 7:30pm - 4:00am

Starting Pay: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and supporting the supply chain process. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics and materials handling.. The Inventory Specialist will collaborate with various departments to optimize inventory management practices and contribute to overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Implement best practices for materials handling to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
Unload trailers and containers using a stand-up counterbalanced fork truck
Sort, count, and receive product into our warehouse management system
Identify and report discrepancies and damages
Put away product to storage bins either by hand or using a fork truck
Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work area
Work well in a team and be self-directed
Perform picking and packing duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in a warehouse environment
Must have prior forklift experience
Possess a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment
Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established quotas/standards and handle the physical demands including standing/walking for long periods of time and ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 65 pounds.
Candidates must be reliable and punctual as good attendance is a requirement of this position
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
