Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Seamstress, Tailor, and/or Sewing Specialist to join our team of FASHIONISTA'S. This role is perfect for someone passionate about garment creation, alteration, and Boutique retail, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering exceptional customer service. As a key contributor, you will bring garments to life through expert sewing and tailoring skills, ensuring each piece meets high-quality standards and customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your craftsmanship while creating one-of-a-kind items for high profile clients in the sports and entertainment industry.

Duties

Measure clients accurately to determine tailoring or alteration needs, ensuring a perfect fit.
Operate sewing machines and other garment construction tools to create or modify clothing items with precision.
Perform garment construction tasks such as stitching, hemming, fitting adjustments, and finishing touches.
Assist customers by providing knowledgeable advice on fabric choices, styles, and alterations to enhance their shopping experience.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all sewing equipment is properly maintained and safety protocols are followed.
Collaborate with team members to complete custom orders efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
Use basic math skills to take measurements, calculate fabric requirements, and ensure accurate pattern matching.

Experience

Proven experience in sewing, garment construction, or tailoring.
Familiarity with sewing machines.
Ability to interpret patterns, measurements, and technical drawings accurately.
Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination for precise stitching and finishing work.
Basic math skills for measurements, fabric calculations, and adjustments.
Previous experience working with various fabrics and garment types is preferred but not required. Join us if you’re eager to craft beautiful garments while delivering outstanding service in a lively fashion retail setting!

Experience with Upholstery Furniture a plus!!!

Must have an upbeat and joyful attitude (NO NEGATIVE PEOPLE NEED APPLY)?

Part time positions available immediately leading to full time. Starting at $19/hr

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
