Who We Are

US Compliance Services is a fast-growing company helping over 50,000 trucking businesses across the U.S. stay compliant with USDOT and FMCSA regulations. We're one of the most trusted names in transportation compliance — and we're looking for a detail-driven professional to join our State Filing Department in Boise, Idaho.

The Role

As a State Filing Specialist, you'll manage state-specific filings that keep our clients in good standing with DOT regulations across multiple states. This is a high-volume administrative role that demands precision, strong organizational habits, and the ability to juggle competing deadlines without losing accuracy. No prior experience in DOT compliance or state filings is required — we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. What You'll Do

Prepare, submit, and track state-specific filings including permits, registrations, licenses, mileage reporting, and other required documentation across multiple states
Review incoming documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with FMCSA and state DOT requirements
Monitor renewal and submission deadlines to ensure timely compliance and avoid client penalties
Maintain organized electronic and physical records of all filings, correspondence, and supporting documentation
Research updates to state DOT regulations and filing requirements with guidance and resources provided
Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and resolve documentation discrepancies
Respond to inquiries from state agencies and assist with audits or information requests
Identify potential compliance issues and recommend process improvements

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred
1–3 years of administrative experience strongly preferred — data entry, document management, or office support
No DOT/FMCSA knowledge required — full training provided
Strong attention to detail with the ability to review complex documents accurately
Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable with document management systems
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional office setting
Experience in a regulated industry or with regulatory filings is a plus
Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits

$20.00/hour, 40 hours/week
