Full Job Description

Company: Clark Meyers PC — a business law firm with offices in Meridian, Idaho & California — seeks a Paralegal with 5-7 years experience in civil litigation and corporate law for our clients. Candidates should also have a bachelor's degree and/or a Paralegal Certificate from an accredited college. We serve growth-stage companies with facilities in Idaho, California, Nevada, Oregon, Montana, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and Washington, as outside general counsel, assisting with M&A, contracts, and entity formation. Ideal candidate holds an active bar license and brings a positive work attitude and some experience in complex civil issues.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive, accomplished, and detail-oriented Senior-Level Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting legal operations by managing case files, conducting substantial legal research, drafting documents, and ensuring the smooth flow of legal processes. Your expertise and sound business judgment will help uphold the integrity of our legal practices while providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced, professional environment dedicated to excellence and integrity.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files using case management software and document management systems like iManage.
Conduct thorough legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to support ongoing litigation and legal strategies.
Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, correspondence, and reports with precision and attention to detail.
Manage document production and organize large volumes of data for legal discovery processes.
Enter data accurately into various systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards.
Support administrative tasks including filing, scheduling meetings, and handling client communication with professionalism and discretion.
Assist in the preparation for court proceedings by organizing exhibits, preparing summaries, and coordinating logistics.

Experience

Prior paralegal experience or law office experience demonstrating familiarity with legal procedures and terminology.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex legal information effectively.
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document creation, data entry, and communication.
Experience using case management software and document management systems such as Clio or similar platforms.
Excellent proofreading skills ensuring accuracy in all legal documents and correspondence.
Knowledge of legal discovery processes, legal research techniques, and handling confidential information responsibly.
Experience with Billing and Billing systems for accurate time entries.
