Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Screen Printing Operator to join our vibrant manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Your expertise will ensure that each print meets our rigorous standards for color accuracy, clarity, and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge printing technology and contribute to the creation of visually compelling products that captivate audiences. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will drive efficiency and excellence in our production process.

Responsibilities

Set up, calibrate, and operate screen printing machines, ensuring optimal performance and print quality.
Manage color registration and color management processes to achieve precise color matching across various designs.
Interpret production documents, including layout designs and technical specifications, to execute print jobs accurately.
Maintain detailed records of print runs, machine adjustments, and quality control checks for traceability.
Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including large-format printers and screen printing presses, to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent output.
Collaborate with graphic designers and prepress teams to prepare files for printing.
Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to detect defects or inconsistencies.
Assist with finishing processes as needed to complete the final product.
Follow safety protocols diligently while handling machinery

Skills

Strong understanding of color management principles and techniques for accurate reproduction.
Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment adjustment, machine operation, and troubleshooting of large-format printers and screen printing presses.
Experience with print advertising materials or layout design is a plus.
Ability to interpret complex manufacturing documents and technical specifications accurately.
Skilled in digital printing processes as well as traditional screen printing methods.
Knowledge of typography, layout design, and visual composition to enhance print quality.
Technical proficiency in operating flexo presses or similar industrial equipment used in manufacturing environments.
