Full Job Description

SUMMARY:

As the Ecommerce Fulfillment & Shipping Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Ecommerce order fulfillment process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders to our consumers. You will work closely with various teams, including Operations, Customer Service, Logistics and the Ecommerce team to streamline processes and optimize efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ecommerce order fulfillment and logistics and previous experience with Amazon Seller Central and ShipStation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Execute the day-to-day operations of our Ecommerce order fulfillment center, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize order fulfillment processes, minimize shipping costs, and improve delivery times.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Inventory Management Team to ensure adequate stock levels to fulfill customer orders.
Work closely with Customer Service to resolve order-related issues, including shipping delays, order discrepancies, and customer inquiries.
Manage packaging material levels and coordinate with the purchasing manager to ensure adequate stock levels.

Works Closely With:

Ecommerce team, Inventory Manager, Shipping & Receiving team, Shipping Manager, and Customer Service.

Travel, if necessary, will be primarily local during the business day.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience required (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
2-3 years of experience in Ecommerce fulfillment, shipping, or inventory management.

Experience with FedEx, UPS and ShipStation shipping software.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / REQUIREMENTS

Strong understanding of Ecommerce order management systems (Amazon Seller Central, NetSuite), shipping software (ShipStation), and logistics processes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong commitment to quality and ability to self-audit orders to ensure their accuracy.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to stay organized while performing multiple tasks.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications such as Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 55 lbs.
Ability to push / pull objects that may weigh more than 55 lbs.
Stand for up to four (4) hours at a time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employees must wear proper Personal Protective Equipment when required.
