Overview

We are seeking energetic and dedicated Metal Building Erectors to join our dynamic construction team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing metal building components with precision and safety. Your expertise will help bring large-scale structures to life, ensuring they are built to specifications and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial warehouses to industrial facilities, contributing directly to the creation of durable, high-quality structures. Whether you’re experienced in metal building erection or eager to develop your skills in construction management and related trades, this role is perfect for motivated individuals ready to make a tangible impact.

Duties

Erect and assemble metal building frameworks using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment with accuracy and efficiency
Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure proper alignment and installation of component
Manage framing tasks including metal stud framing,metal trim carpentry, and siding installation to ensure structural integrity
Operate heavy machinery safely for lifting and positioning large steel components or concrete elements
Read measurements accurately using tape measures

Skills

Extensive experience in metal building erection with a strong understanding of construction sequences and safety protocols
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate assembly
Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment safely and effectively on construction sites
Knowledge of welding techniques and metal stud framing methods for structural assembly
Familiarity with construction plans, technical specifications, and dimensional measurements for precise work
Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly while maintaining safety standards; physically fit for demanding tasks
Excellent communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating with team members
