Overview

Atlantic TNG is a rapidly growing organization committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. We value integrity, compassion, growth, and quality, and we're looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team.

Position Summary

The HR Generalist will support the Human Resources Manager and serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers. This role is responsible for assisting with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Assist with administering employee benefits programs.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Support employee relations by responding to questions and resolving workplace concerns/issues in a professional and confidential manner.
Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
Assist with performance management processes, employee evaluations, and corrective actions.
Process employment changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Support payroll by maintaining accurate employee information and timekeeping records.
Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee communications.
Assist with training, employee engagement initiatives, and company events.
Generate HR reports and maintain HR metrics as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist role.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience with HRIS systems (Paycor) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
Bilingual in English/Haitian Creole is a plus
