Rampart corporate is located in the same facility to ensure strong collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, and sales.

About The Job

We are seeking top performing CNC Mazak Integrex Programmer / Setup Machinists who are innovative thinkers and reliable team members. Our parts require high changeovers and setups in a low volume/high mix work environment for the harsh environment connectivity market. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who thrives in a low volume/high-mix, complex, precision environment.

Responsibilities:

Create and proof new CNC programs and optimize existing CNC programs
Complete full set-ups, operate, and adjust CNC mill turns for low volume, high mix production
Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and tool life optimization
Interpret and work from blueprints, GD&T specifications, and work instructions
Perform precision measurements using inspection instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure part quality
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain efficiency
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Associate degree in manufacturing, machining or engineering technology is a plus
5+ years of experience programming and setting up Mazak Integrex (twin spindle) mill-turn in a low volume, high mix environment
Fully proficient in programming Mazatrol smooth controls
Experience with precision, tight tolerance parts with 2.5” OD
Jaw cutting is required
Knowledge of cutting tools, metal properties, and mill operations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team in a fast-paced production environment
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong geometry and analytical math skills to calculate tool paths, feed rates, and speeds

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
