Assistant General Manager

We are looking for a passionate hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a solid knowledge of wine? We're looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead our team and deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager with the daily operations of the restaurant.
Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house staff to provide outstanding guest service.
Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and food safety.
Manage scheduling, inventory, labor costs, and daily cash handling.
Support hiring, training, and performance management of team members.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and ensure a memorable dining experience.
Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service.
Promote wine sales through staff education and confident guest recommendations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
In depth wine knowledge is required, including varietals, regions, food pairings, and service standards. Wine certifications (WSET, CMS, or equivalent) are a plus.
Experience with beverage and wine inventory management.
Toast and Open Table experience preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Full open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What We Offer

Full-time.

Salary $60,000 to $70,000 plus $6,000 to $10,000 of our service fee.

Potential for health, dental & vision insurance.
