Full Job Description

Our compnay is seeking an experienced Welder to join our fabrication shop in High Point, North Carolina. This position is responsible for performing quality welds using MIG and TIG, Stick welding processes while working extensively with stainless steel and carbon steel materials. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality fabrication work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Essential Functions

Perform MIG and Stick (SMAW) welding on stainless steel and carbon steel materials.
Fabricate structural and mechanical components according to blueprints and shop drawings.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, grinding, and fitting components prior to welding.
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, torches, and material handling equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with fabricators, fitters, and supervisors to meet production schedules.
Report material or quality issues promptly.
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.

Work Location: In person

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
