Full Job Description

Automotive Accounting Assistant

We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join our dealership team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in accounting, finance, or automotive dealership operations and is looking to gain hands-on experience.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and willing to learn. Automotive or accounting experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks
Process and organize invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile transactions and verify financial information
Enter and maintain accurate data in accounting/dealership systems
Assist with deposits, payments, and other dealership accounting functions
Maintain organized records and files
Communicate with other dealership departments regarding accounting questions or documentation
Assist the accounting office with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with numbers
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Dependable and able to work independently
Professional communication and customer-service skills
Willingness to learn new accounting and dealership software
Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or dealership experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule

Part-time schedule with approximately 25 hours per week.
Schedule can be discussed based on availability and dealership needs.
