We’re seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The Accounting Coordinator will support the firm's day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, client billing, and other accounting functions. This full-time position is fully remote, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement if you are located near one of our offices.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Process and reconcile accounts payable, including vendor invoices
Assist with accounts receivable, including monitoring outstanding balances and following up on past-due invoices
Prepare, review, and finalize client invoices in collaboration with attorneys and the Billing & AR Manager
Ensure client and vendor invoices are being processed in accordance to client guidelines
Process client payments, trust transactions, and deposits in accordance with firm policies
Assist with monthly billing cycles, payment applications, and account reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with the review and preparation of billing appeals, including gathering supporting documentation and identifying billing trends
Support month-end and year-end accounting activities
Other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

Accounting experience in a litigation setting
Comfort working in a growing firm where priorities may shift and processes are evolving
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Clear, professional communicator who works well independently and as part of a team
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems (Filevine experience a plus)

The hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, which features health and dental insurance, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and additional offerings designed to support overall well-being.
