Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and oversee the electrical installation and commissioning aspects of a cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage Project. This role involves managing electrical crews, ensuring adherence to safety standards, coordinating with project management teams, and maintaining high-quality construction practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems within energy storage projects. Your expertise will drive project success from start to finish, ensuring timely completion while maintaining safety, quality, and budget standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise electrical crews on-site, managing daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints to guide installation activities accurately.
Coordinate construction schedules with project managers using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software to meet project milestones.
Oversee the review of construction drawings and schematics to ensure proper implementation of electrical systems in accordance with project specifications.
Manage procurement, tracking, and utilization of materials and tools such as Ohmmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
Enforce OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
Collaborate with management on budgeting, contract administration, and quality control measures to uphold project integrity.
Supervise subcontractors and manage team performance through effective communication, training, and management practices.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions promptly.
Ensure all work complies with construction regulations, safety protocols, and client specifications throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

Proven experience managing electrical teams in heavy civil or commercial construction projects with a focus on energy storage or similar infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
Expertise in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical schematics related to electrical systems.
Familiarity with construction scheduling, project management principles, budgeting processes, and contract management.
Deep understanding of OSHA standards and federal safety regulations specific to construction sites involving electrical work.
Skilled in supervising crews effectively while maintaining high standards for safety, quality control, and productivity.
Excellent communication skills for managing teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring clear documentation of project activities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines within a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of construction estimating techniques relevant to electrical scopes of work in energy projects is a plus.
