POSITION SUMMARY
Recruitment specialists will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
The Recruiting specialist will also screen candidates for open positions within their organization. They work with a variety of different departments to identify the best candidates for each position, then present these individuals to hiring managers for consideration.
Recruitment specialists may also be tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with potential candidates before they become available for hire. This might include networking events or sending personalized messages via email or social media.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Achieve Results Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date record keeping of all candidates, applications, and interview documentation.
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders, as needed. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
Stays abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Operational Excellence Ensure and uphold the confidentiality requirements of all patient records and manage all daily tasks and activities consistent with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability), state and federal laws and regulations, as well as the clinic’s policies and procedures and regulations regarding confidentiality and security.
Assures that all documents are completed as required.

Develop and ensure effective, positive relationships within and among the clinic staff, patients, vendors, contractors, and related resources.

PRIMARY TASKS & DUTIES
Works with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and to ensure that staffing needs are filled in a timely manner. Manages open requisition processes. Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; contact external recruiters using newsgroups and job sites Prescreen applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants: analyze responses, obtaining references, and compare qualifications to job requirements Improve organization’s attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices Conduct all initial interviews and prescreening Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status Monitor job offers Arranges travel and lodging for applicants, as applicable Participates in development of annual recruiting budget Maintains data on recruitment/hiring activities and creates reports Avoid legal challenges by conducting training on proper interview practices Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations Works closely with Human Resources and management to maintain consistent communication as it relates to staffing needs and the recruiting processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY COMPETENCIES
Function in a multi-tasking, multiple priorities environment, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Utilize a wide variety of office technology and tools to collect, enter, process, provide documentation as it relates to the recruiting processes.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
x High School diploma or equivalent.
x Bachelor's degree or associate degree in related field preferred
x Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
x Must be able to speak read, write and understand English.
x HR Certificate preferred.
Professional
x “Skilled” business office experience.
x Communication, customer service or working with the public, preferably in a medical care
facility.
x General computer competence including Microsoft Office/Outlook.
x Strong-minded employee who can complete tasks and function daily with minimal supervision.
Physical/Environmental
x Ability to interact with computer screen for up to six hours at a time (visual acuity required).
x Must have manual dexterity for use of keyboard.
x Ability to remain stationary for periods of up to four hours.
x Ability to communicate via phone, mail and in person to resolve disputes, solve problems, etc.
x Capacity to function in a sometimes stressful, multi-tasking environment.
x Ability to adapt to changes to processes and procedures with the HR Department to enhance the department as a whole
