Accounts Payable Clerk

Sheely’s Furniture & Appliance is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. This position is responsible for accurately processing vendor invoices, maintaining accounts payable records, reconciling accounts and assisting with other accounting functions as needed.

Requirements:

Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, including matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents. Review and process manufacturer bill-backs, reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, prepare payments by check or electronic transfer, and maintain accurate accounts payable records. Assist with month-end and quarterly closing procedures and provide support to other members of the finance team as needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail, organization, time management and communication skills are required. Must be able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to cover day, nights and weekends as needed, except Sundays. Sheely's is closed on Sunday so you can be with your family.
