Job Summary

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your energetic approach and dedication will ensure every guest experiences a spotless, inviting atmosphere that reflects our commitment to exceptional service. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality and custodial management while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Duties

Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
Perform floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying appropriate treatments to maintain a polished appearance.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and minibar items to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
Maintain public areas by dusting, sweeping, mopping, and ensuring restrooms are clean and well-stocked.
Handle industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning carpets or upholstery using specialized equipment.
Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold the property’s quality standards.

Qualifications

Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning is a plus.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards within hospitality settings.
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks effectively.
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and housekeeping management practices is advantageous.
A positive attitude combined with excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
