Job Overview

The Operations Manager (OM)/aka Dental Office Manager, holds everything together. They know that excellent patient care starts with employees who are engaged and feel supported. They communicate effectively and provide creative solutions that promote superior patient experience and ensure that they leave feeling appreciated and eager to return.

Responsibilities

Interview and select team members who have the potential to contribute to a positive team culture and performance.
Build a high performing team by engaging, empowering, and developing team members to reach their full potential through positive and constructive feedback, training, and coaching
Hold team members accountable to operational and compliance standards
Support dentists by understanding and advancing their practice goals
Provide compassionate care to patients.
Collaborate with the leadership team on new initiatives like process improvements that impact the entire organization
Effectively communicate with all team members by adjusting to their needs and always start with the WHY
Actively participate in leadership development sessions to expand your knowledge and growth potential
Analyze reports to identify opportunities for improvement in the areas of access to care, patient experience, and employee retention

Education, Experience, and Skill Sets:

3 years management experience in a dental office setting
Experience with interviewing, selecting, and/or training employees highly desired
Computer proficiency
High School diploma or equivalent
Training in OSHA and HIPAA Compliance
