Law Office in Carmel, IN is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, this position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, professional experience while supporting the daily operations of our attorneys and staff.

Essential Responsibilities:
Front Desk & Client Service
- Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality.
- Schedule and coordinate conference room usage and client appointments.
- Receive deliveries and assist visitors as needed.
- Administrative Support
- Receive, sort, distribute, scan, and electronically file incoming mail and documents.
- Prepare outgoing mail, including logging postage and coordinating mailings.
- Assemble binders, client packets, and other office materials.
- Assist attorneys and staff with routine administrative projects.
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
- Perform data entry and basic document preparation.
Office Operations:
- Maintain inventory and organization of the reception area, breakroom, and common areas.
- Operate office equipment including copiers, scanners, postage equipment, and other office technology.
- Assist with opening and closing responsibilities for the reception area and common spaces.
- Perform other administrative and office support duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, or office experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF.
- Ability to learn firm software and office procedures.
