Mobile Phlebotomist (Part-Time) – south bay area and Greater Sacramento Area
(AM & PM Shifts)

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time Mobile Phlebotomist, supporting our Sacramento-area facilities with flexible AM and PM shifts. In this patient-centered role, you will travel to multiple locations to perform essential blood collection and specimen-handling services with professionalism and care. Your expertise will ensure accurate laboratory testing, timely service, and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in community health while working independently across various healthcare settings.

Available Shifts (Choose One or Both)

AM Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
PM Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Work Locations

Primary Service Area: South bay area and Greater Sacramento
home Lab: 5757 Sonoma Dr, Suite A, Pleasanton, CA 94566

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

Travel to assigned Sacramento facilities using a personal vehicle.
Perform venipuncture and blood draws using proper phlebotomy techniques.
Accurately label, handle, and transport specimens while maintaining chain-of-custody.
Ensure all specimen collection follows aseptic technique and safety standards.
Provide excellent patient service—explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
Maintain detailed documentation of specimens, procedures, timesheets, and patient info.
Follow all laboratory protocols for specimen processing and storage.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, lab staff, and facility partners.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to infection-control guidelines.
Support additional mobile healthcare tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Active California CPT Phlebotomy License (Required)
2+ year of phlebotomy experience (Required)
Proven experience with venipuncture, blood sampling, and specimen processing
Strong understanding of lab techniques, specimen labeling, and PHI compliance
Prior experience in hospital or clinical environments preferred
Ability to travel between multiple facilities
Excellent communication skills and patient-care mindset
Physically able to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
