Full Job Description

Overview

We are looking for experienced candidates for our Information Technology Senior Sales Manager position to join our Sales and Marketing workforce.

The selected candidate will manage and oversee all of our marketing and sales activities from prospecting, lead generation through closing deals and managing existing relationships with our current clients, prospects, vendors and distributors.

Candidates will work directly with our management, sales and technical staff to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation goals, and long-term account expansion plans aligned with our corporate vision and values.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITES

1. Strategic Sales Planning:

Develop and implement regional and global sales strategies aligned with company objectives
Analyze market trends and competitor performance to identify new opportunities
Forecast sales performance and develop sales budgets and revenue targets
Engage in planning, executing and following up on new client and opportunity prospecting and lead generation efforts
Management, fine tuning and management reporting of all of our sales and marketing activities
Plan, execute and demonstrate results in all of our marketing and sales efforts providing ongoing insights to management

2. Team Leadership & Development:

Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives and account managers
Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations
Foster a high-performance sales culture through motivation, coaching, and professional development
Work with our hardware, software, services and development technical resources to define technical activities and hardware / software needed to provide the best solution to our clients and prospects needs

3. Client & Account Management:

Management current customer and new prospect pipeline generation efforts
Proposal preparation, presentation to clients, follow-up and deal closing
Maintain and grow relationships with key enterprise clients and strategic partners
Lead high-value negotiations and contract discussions for hardware, software licensing, and managed services
Ensure customer satisfaction and manage escalations when necessary
Assistance with overdue collection efforts as needed

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with marketing, product, engineering, and customer support teams to align go-to-market strategies
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure delivery of IT hardware solutions
Collaborate with our finance and management department to structure complex deals and proposals
Adhere to JDW’s policies and procedures for sales, marketing, business guidelines, employee and other policies and procedures

5. Sales Operations & Reporting:

Track pipeline activity using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
Generate sales reports and present to executive leadership on KPIs and revenue goals
Ensure compliance with internal processes, legal, and industry regulations
Manage and ongoing update of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to keep all information current

6. Technical & Product Expertise:

Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s technology portfolio (servers, storage, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, etc.)
Stay up to date on industry innovations and customer needs in digital transformation, AI, and IT modernization
Support presales and technical consultants in tailoring solutions for client needs

7. Channel & Partner Management:

Build and manage relationships with channel partners, resellers, and system integrators.
Drive joint go-to-market efforts and channel sales initiatives
Monitor partner performance and ensure adherence to partnership agreements
Engage in establishing and managing good working relationships with JDW’s distributors, vendors and other external entities that assist our sales efforts

8. Deal Structuring & Pricing Strategy:

Approve and oversee complex pricing models, discounts, and bids for enterprise projects
Ensure profitability while maintaining competitiveness in RFPs and tenders

Experience and Requirements

Must have at least five (5) years of proven and verifiable sales experience in similar Information Technology companies including Enterprise Software, Consulting and Enterprise Hardware sales)
Functional knowledge and pre-sales customer facing knowledge in the following:
Server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V etc.)
Application Development
Enterprise Core Business Software (ESB, ECM, CRM, BPM, ERP etc.)
Cloud solutions
Disaster recovery solutions
Data safeguarding and backup solutions
Managed services
Backend hardware and software security solutions (Pen tests, application security monitoring solutions)
End user security solutions (Antivirus, ransomware, phishing, etc.)
Enterprise hardware (servers, storage systems, NAS)
Software availability and performance monitoring solutions
Networking hardware (routers, firewall, switches, etc.)
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and outgoing personality
Excellent people and communication skills
Sales achievements and work references required (Past three (3) years)
Must be highly motivated and independent
Results oriented personality
At least five (5) customer sales references demonstrating experience with IT software, hardware and consulting (will be verified)
Strong interest and passion for Information Technology
Fully bilingual (Spanish and English - written and oral)
Full-time availability
Ability to follow instructions and work in a Team
