Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting financial compliance initiatives. Your expertise will help streamline our financial operations and uphold the integrity of our accounting practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are valued.

Duties

Process and verify a high volume of invoices using various accounting software such as McLeod TMS ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
Manage NOA and LOA's.
Handle data entry tasks with precision, including coding invoices with appropriate GL accounts and data validation.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies, process payments promptly, and improve accounts payable processes.

Skills

Required Experience with McLeod TMS
Knowledge of accounts payable automation tools and invoice processing workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry and account payable tasks.
Excellent analysis skills with the ability to identify discrepancies quickly and implement effective solutions.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
