Full Job Description

ClearSpring Pharmacy is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join our team. This position will cover for all 3 pharmacies- Long-Term Care, Retail and Compounding. We are looking to cover for several up coming medical leaves and vacation requests.

Responsibilities:

Performs initial verification on written, electronic and phone prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
Complete the final check on all prescriptions made from anticipatory compounded stock and traditionally manufactured medications.
Supervises the pharmacy technicians and pharmacy intern staff including, but not limited to, filling new and refill prescriptions.
Log out schedule II prescriptions (recount schedule II RX).
Have ability to work at all retail locations (Cherry Creek and Littleton) within ClearSping organizations.
Ability to administer or supervise vaccination administration.
Ability to perform point of care testing including, but not limited to, blood pressure checks, cholesterol checks and flu/COVID tests (preferred).
Completing tasks assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Current state pharmacy license in good standing.
Proven experience working as a pharmacist in a retail or clinical setting. Compounding experience is a bonus.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and medication therapy management.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
Exceptional communication and counseling skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Proficient in pharmacy software systems and technology.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
