Description:

Looking for a rewarding position while enjoying the benefits of working at a ski resort? Have experience in the kitchen and love to see people enjoy your work? This Line Cook position is for you. We are a 4 season resort that has lots to offer employees with a fun and rewarding environment. Come use your skills and your skis with us!

Line Cook Job Responsibilities:

Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
Cooks and prepares food to the standards of Noahs and does so consistently
Shows up to work, on time, in uniform, and ready to help the team succeed
Able to take initiative and show ability to do a task to completion
Performs job with minimal coaching or managing

Requirements:

Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:

Basic written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills
Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
Ability to work as a team member
Follows directions and instructions
Will receive and maintain an Idaho Food Handlers Card

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred
One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook preferred
Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
Familiar with industry best practices
