Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and schematics to produce high-quality welds in a manufacturing environment.

Duties

Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to ASME codes and standards.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for fabrication tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Operate cranes and forklifts safely for material handling during the welding process.
Execute pipe threading, and plasma cutting as needed for projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and other manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in MIG welding; additional skills in TIG welding, FCAW, or stick welding are a plus.
Familiarity with construction site practices and safety standards.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Experience with rigging techniques.
Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material requirements.
