Job Title: Accounting Assistant / Junior Bookkeeper

Pay: $45,000–$55,000 per year

Easyflex Texas, Inc. is a growing manufacturer and distributor of plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and related industrial products serving professional customers throughout the United States.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Assistant / Junior Bookkeeper to support our accounting team with daily bookkeeping, account reconciliation, expense processing, and financial record maintenance.

This position is a strong opportunity for an early-career accounting professional who wants to develop practical experience and grow into a broader accounting role.

Position Summary

The Accounting Assistant / Junior Bookkeeper will assist with daily accounting transactions, bank and credit card reconciliations, vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, and financial document management.

The position will work closely with the accounting team and receive guidance and training from experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain daily accounting transactions
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Enter vendor bills and support payment processing
Review and process employee expense reimbursements
Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and supporting documents
Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliation
Prepare basic accounting schedules and internal reports
Assist with payroll data preparation and employee record updates
Provide documents and information to external accountants and CPAs
Support accounting activities for multiple business operations or entities
Communicate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, receipts, and accounting documentation
Perform other accounting and administrative support duties as assigned

Qualifications

One to two years of bookkeeping, accounting support, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience preferred
Entry-level candidates with relevant accounting education or internship experience will be considered
Basic understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to organize financial documents and maintain confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
