Practice: Paramount Dental Care & Specialty
Position: Full-Time, On-Site
Compensation: $85,000 (Base Salary) + Performance Bonus + Health Insurance Benefits
Schedule: Full-Time | 100% On-Site | No Remote Work

About the Position

Paramount Dental Care & Specialty is seeking an exceptional, highly experienced Dental Office Manager / Practice Administrator to take ownership of the day-to-day operations, team performance, and continued growth of our multi-specialty dental practice in Long Beach.

This is not simply a front-office manager position.

We are looking for an experienced dental leader who understands how to run a successful dental practice as a business. The right person will be able to manage the team, oversee daily operations, improve systems, increase treatment acceptance, monitor practice performance, and identify opportunities for continued growth.

We want someone who is proactive, highly organized, accountable, and comfortable making decisions independently.

This is a 100% on-site leadership position. Remote work is not available. Our Office Manager is expected to have a strong leadership presence throughout practice operating hours and be available to open or close the office as operational needs require.

What You Will Be Responsible For

You will take ownership of the overall performance and daily operation of the practice, including:

Managing all day-to-day practice operations
Leading, training, motivating, and developing the dental team
Holding team members accountable to practice standards and expectations
Creating an efficient and productive schedule for all providers
Monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly production and collections
Monitoring accounts receivable and maintaining strong collection performance
Tracking treatment acceptance, schedule utilization, new patients, and other key practice KPIs
Identifying opportunities to increase production, collections, and profitability
Improving systems and workflows throughout the practice
Conducting effective morning huddles and team meetings
Managing employee schedules, attendance, timecards, and daily staffing issues
Handling patient concerns professionally and effectively
Overseeing insurance verification, claims, billing, collections, and A/R follow-up
Managing recall, reactivation, and unscheduled treatment
Recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing team members
Coordinating with doctors and ownership regarding practice goals and performance
Managing vendors, supplies, and other operational needs
Tracking new-patient sources and helping implement strategies to grow the practice

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes ownership.

If you see a problem, we expect you to identify it, develop a solution, implement it, and follow through.

Advanced Treatment Coordination

The ideal candidate must also be an exceptional treatment coordinator.

You should be comfortable presenting comprehensive and high-value treatment plans and helping patients move forward with recommended care.

Responsibilities include:

Presenting treatment plans clearly and confidently
Explaining insurance benefits and patient financial responsibility
Discussing payment and financing options
Following up consistently on unscheduled treatment
Professionally overcoming patient objections and concerns
Building trust and communicating the value of recommended treatment
Monitoring and improving treatment acceptance
Training and coaching other team members on treatment presentation and follow-up

Experience coordinating treatment across general dentistry and dental specialties is strongly preferred.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

10+ years of dental experience
Significant experience successfully managing a dental practice
Proven leadership and team-management experience
Expert-level Eaglesoft experience
Advanced treatment coordination and case-presentation experience
Professional/native-level fluency in Spanish and English
Extensive knowledge of dental insurance, billing, claims, A/R, and collections
Strong understanding of dental scheduling and provider productivity
Ability to understand and manage dental practice KPIs
Excellent leadership and people-management skills
Exceptional patient communication and customer-service skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to make decisions and work independently
Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive work environment
Reliable, professional, consistent, and highly accountable

Compensation & Benefits

Base Compensation: $85,000+ annually, depending on experience
