Shane Smith Law is a fast-growing personal injury law firm committed to helping clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. We are looking for a bright, organized, and dependable Receptionist to join our Charlotte team.

This role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, takes pride in creating a welcoming environment, and enjoys being the person who keeps things running smoothly. As the first person clients see when they walk through our doors, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience and representing the culture of our firm.

The ideal candidate is someone who is naturally organized, takes initiative, notices the small details others miss, and can confidently shift priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who brings energy and professionalism to the office every day.

What You'll Do

Welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Help create a positive first impression for everyone who interacts with our firm
Coordinate conference room scheduling and ensure meeting spaces are prepared
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lobby and reception area
Keep conference rooms and supply closets organized, stocked, and ready for use
Coordinate break room supplies and communicate needs to ensure the office stays prepared
Prepare and take outgoing mail to the post office each business day using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as needed

What Makes You a Great Fit

At least 3 years of customer service experience
Previous Receptionist experience and/or notary a plus!
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment
A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative without constant direction
Dependable, professional, and accountable
A bright, cheerful personality and a genuine desire to help others
Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for daily post office trips (mileage reimbursed)
