Full Job Description

Advanced Vehicle Assembly Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Advanced Vehicle Assembly Technician to support the assembly and validation of military-style vehicles. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, electrical and welding experience, leadership capability, and advanced troubleshooting skills in a prototype and production-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble military-type vehicles and prototype systems with precision and attention to detail
Define, organize, and help lay out vehicle assembly line processes to improve workflow, efficiency, and repeatability
Lead and coordinate a small team involved in vehicle assembly and integration activities
Train and mentor semi-skilled personnel in vehicle assembly procedures and best practices
Perform mechanical, electrical, and welding tasks as part of vehicle integration and assembly
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation; identify and recommend necessary corrections
Ensure assembly processes are completed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during vehicle build and testing
Inspect and review completed work to verify vehicles are assembled correctly and meet operational requirements
Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment

Qualifications

Strong experience in vehicle assembly, mechanics, electrical systems, welding, and troubleshooting
Experience defining and supporting assembly line layouts and production workflow processes
Proven ability to lead a small team and support workforce development
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly documentation
Excellent organizational skills and focus on repeatable, high-quality processes
Military experience and/or formal technical training is a plus
