Full Job Description

Overview

Join our finance team as an Accountant and play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting our organization’s financial health. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse accounting systems, enhance your technical accounting skills, and contribute to the success of a forward-thinking organization. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing accounting tasks, performing detailed reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting processes with precision and enthusiasm.

Duties

Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using financial software such as QuickBooks and COINS+ ERP.
Conduct detailed general ledger accounting and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial statement preparation and audit support.
Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, leveraging Excel data analysis skills for reporting and decision-making purposes.
Handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining the integrity of financial data across various accounting systems.
Support internal controls such as compliance and participate in internal audits to uphold organizational standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, cost analysis, and financial projects to promote transparency and efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience in corporate accounting or environments with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software
Solid knowledge of GAAP principles along with experience in technical accounting
Strong skills in Excel data analysis, account reconciliation, journal entries, and balance sheet management are essential.
Experience handling accounts payable/receivable processes along with bookkeeping duties within diverse organizational settings.
Ability to interpret financial data accurately while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent numeracy skills combined with effective communication abilities to support customer service initiatives internally and externally.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
