Avante Partners - Project Coordinator

Avante Partners is hiring a Project Coordinator in Spokane, WA

The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for working with the Project Manager and/or Program Manager and departments to organize and implement new and existing company projects and programs. Working in a team environment, this individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and providing administrative support to Project and Program Manager teams. This role works with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on project related issues. Finally, this individual will be a member of a self-directed, collaborative, and interdependent team.

Working in a team environment, this individual will prepare and ensure accurate and timely processing of Project or Program Documents including but not limited to: contract documents, plans, specifications, technical reports, submittals, contractor billing, Statement of Work, Work Authorizations, as-built drawings, change orders and data requests. This role is responsible for participating in the review of proposals to ensure compliance with contract documents, determines cost differentials, prepares bid evaluation forms, and recommends awarding contracts.

In this role, you will:

· Support in the preparation of project legal documents including drafting Statement of Work and Work Authorizations.

· Participates in the review of proposals to ensure compliance with contract documents, determines cost differentials, and prepares bid evaluation forms.

· Monitor timeline changes and communicate new information to team, including project changes and adjustment to schedules.

· Assists in developing, drafting, writing and administration of contracts and maintains contracts database and working files.

· Interfaces with outside consultants, contractors, and internal organizations.

· Responsible for meeting minutes and documentation

· Review, code and obtain proper approvals for invoices.

· Reviews submittals and may make recommendations on who is awarded contracts based on presented proposals.

· Assists in the development and review of all types of department projects.

· Responsible for providing backup administration, and refinement of Department office procedures and maintains records management systems.

· Provide document control.

· Able to manage small projects from scope, contract, contraction through commissioning.

· Processes complex billing and resolve contract change issues.

· In partnership with Project Manager, ensures project aligns with set strategy and budget.

· Support Project Managers with the facilitation and delivery of lessons learned post project documentation.

Qualifications

· Superior communication skills (verbal and written) required

· Understanding of the project lifecycle

· Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost plans

· Careful attention to detail in written communication

· Experience assisting with PM activities in all phases (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Closure) within a technical environment

· Proficient with all the Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis in strong Excel skills

· Good soft skills and an ability to deal with ambiguity

· Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

Education

· BS in Business or related field

· 2+ years of experience

Compensation

· $65K - $90K DOE
