Chester, CA

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $25.00 per hour + Benefits

Join a Friendly Independent Community Pharmacy

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent pharmacy in Chester, California, seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join its close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking for a stable, weekday-only position with no evenings or weekends. You'll be working alongside an experienced pharmacy team in a busy community pharmacy that fills just under 200 prescriptions per day, while also providing vaccinations and point-of-care testing services.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist the Pharmacist with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
Process new and refill prescriptions efficiently.
Enter prescription information into the pharmacy management system.
Prepare and label medications.
Manage inventory, ordering and stock control.
Handle insurance claims and resolve billing issues where required.
Provide outstanding customer service to patients both in person and over the phone.
Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean, organised and compliant workplace.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.
Current California Pharmacy Technician registration (or eligibility).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Friendly, professional communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy community pharmacy environment.
A genuine passion for delivering excellent patient care.

What's on Offer

Starting pay of $25.00 per hour
40-hour working week
Monday to Friday schedule
8:45 AM – 5:15 PM
No evenings
No weekends
