Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Server / To-Go Specialist and become the heart of memorable dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face greeting guests, managing to-go orders with precision, and ensuring every guest feels valued and satisfied. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere where guests want to return time and again. Whether taking orders at the table or coordinating takeout service, your positive attitude will shine through in every interaction. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while being part of a dynamic team dedicated to guest satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service both in-person and over the phone.
Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently.
Take accurate to-go orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct.
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about menu items, wait times, and reservation availability while practicing excellent phone etiquette.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, takeout area, and dining space to uphold food safety standards.
Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, fostering a hospitable environment that encourages repeat visits.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant hosting, or hospitality roles is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a desire to learn!
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing guest checks.
Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and POS platforms such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
Experience in restaurant reservation management and guest services is a plus.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper hygiene standards is essential for ensuring guest well-being.
