Full Job Description

Lead the Kitchen. Set the Standard.

Wild Roots is looking for a Kitchen Manager who leads by example and takes genuine pride in running an organized, efficient, and positive kitchen. This isn't a position for someone looking to simply clock in and out—we're looking for someone who treats the kitchen with the same care, accountability, and attention they would if they owned it.

If you're an experienced line cook who naturally steps into leadership, enjoys building systems, and believes that great kitchens are built on communication, consistency, and respect, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

Lead daily kitchen operations from prep through service.
Cook alongside the team during busy service while maintaining high quality and consistency.
Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost awareness.
Monitor product levels and minimize waste.
Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
Train, coach, and support kitchen staff.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with both the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Help improve systems and workflows that make the kitchen stronger every week.
Take ownership of the kitchen environment and solve problems before they become bigger ones.
