Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinst to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, machining processes, and blueprint reading will be essential in ensuring efficient production workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers according to complex blueprints and
qualifications.
Interpret and program CNC machines using CAM software (familiarity with Mastercam or similar a plus).
Select and utilize appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials and machining processes.
Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet stringent quality control standards.
Maintain accurate production records and document machining processes.
Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, implementing corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
May assist with developing new machining methods and tooling for complex parts.
Other duties assigned.
Reliable and regular attendance.

Qualifications

Experience and Education:

6+ years of CNC experience required
High school degree or equivalent, plus specialized training
Technical Skills
Excellent attention to detail
Working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
Basic computer skills
Problem solving abilities
Mastercam experience extremely helpful
Ability to use calipers, micrometers, etc.
Mastery of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Understand and obey safety requirements
Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time
Capable of standing for long periods
