Harbin Hot Springs is a nonprofit retreat center located in Middletown Ca. We have been rebuilding, due to the 2015 Valley fire, and have been operating out of temporary facilities until now- our brand new restaurant has opened!

We ae currently seeking full time and part time Kitchen Helpers which may include line cook, prep cook, dishwashing, and more.

Harness your culinary creativity to prepare delicious and nutritious dishes primarily rooted in vegetarian cuisine, utilizing fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. Embrace teamwork and communication as you work alongside fellow kitchen staff to maintain a harmonious and efficient kitchen environment. Uphold impeccable standards to cleanliness and food safety in accordance with industry regulations and our dedication to holistic well-being. **Qualifications:** 1. Culinary Passion:** An enthusiasm for wholesome and organic ingredients and a desire to spread joy through food. 2.** Experience .** Previous experience in a professional kitchen preferred but will train for the right person. 3. ** Flexibility:** Willingness to work nights from 8pm-2:30 am, weekends and holidays as needed. 4.** Team Player:** A collaborative spirit, essential for a supportive kitchen culture. 5.** Strength* Ability to withstand long hours of standing, working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment, and lifting heavy objects (e.,g., pots, pans and food supplies). 6.** Cleanliness** Meticulous about through cleaning. 7.** Self Motivator. Ability to plan projects and stay on task

We pride ourselves on our health-conscious focus, everything is made from scratch, using the freshest, highest quality ingredients we can source reflecting the current food trends so we can accommodate every guest with ease. Our menu is 95% Organic, we offer traditional healthy food options as well as gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options.

Health Code is taken very seriously, and cleaning responsibilities are a shared effort.

Physical Requirements:

Being able to stand for long periods of time.

Tolerate temperatures experienced with working in a commercial kitchen.

Able to lift 40-50lbs on occasion, as we use bulk items.

Additional Requirements:

· Have or willing to obtain (we cover the cost) of a Food Handler's Card.

· Ability and willingness to pass a Background Check (run by our provider Verified First).

· Have flexible availability- willingness to work on the Weekdays/Weekends and Holidays, as needed. (Harbin is a retreat resort that runs 24/7 and is open 365 days a year).
