About the Role

As a Precision Machinist, you will serve as a vital contributor to our production excellence by transforming raw materials into high-precision components. You will leverage your expertise in G-code programming and manual machining to ensure every part meets rigorous engineering standards, directly impacting the quality and reliability of our final products.

Responsibilities

Execute complex machine setups and changeovers for both CNC and manual equipment to maximize production efficiency.
Interpret intricate technical blueprints and schematics to translate design requirements into precise physical components.
Optimize machine performance by monitoring operations and performing proactive adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
Drive continuous improvement by collaborating with the engineering team to troubleshoot production bottlenecks and resolve technical challenges.
Uphold a culture of safety and precision by maintaining an organized workspace and adhering to strict operational protocols.
Ensure documentation accuracy by recording production metrics and process data to support quality assurance initiatives.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend equipment longevity and minimize operational downtime.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Proven professional experience operating CNC and manual machining centers.
Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and geometric dimensioning.
Strong command of G-code and M-code programming logic.
Expertise in utilizing precision measurement tools including micrometers and calipers.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex mechanical problems with high attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Technical degree or vocational certification in Machining or Tool & Die.
Experience with high-volume production run setups.
Strong collaborative skills for working within cross-functional manufacturing teams.
