Full Job Description

Don's Garage is an affiliate company of A1 Garage Door in Phoenix, Arizona. In Columbus, Ohio, we operate under the brand name Don's Garage.

This is NOT an entry-level role.

If you’re not already:

Closing jobs in the home
Confident selling repairs and upgrades face-to-face
Able to perform the work yourself at a high level

This is not the role for you.

Up top $10K Sign on Bonus for candidates currently employed as garage door technician by a reputable company AND

a minimum of 1 year of garage door sales & service REQUIRED

1+ years’ Experience: $7,500 sign on bonus
3+ years’ Experience: $10,000 sign on bonus
This location operates with expanded service hours to support increased capacity and customer demand. Team members may be scheduled for shifts from 6AM to 4PM, 8:30AM-6:30PM or 11AM to 9PM, with assignments based on performance and seniority. The facility is open seven days a week, requiring flexibility in scheduling, including weekends.

WHAT THIS ROLE REALLY IS

This is a high-performance, in-home sales role with technical execution.

You will:

Walk into homes where customers already need service (NOT a door-to-door sales job)
Diagnose the problem
Present options confidently
Close the job on the spot
Then complete the work yourself

If you can’t confidently do all five, you won’t succeed here.

What We Require

Valid driver’s license (3+ years driving record)
Ability to lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, and work in varying temperatures.
Willingness to undergo criminal background check and drug test (THC excluded).
Basic comfort with navigation apps, Google tools, tablets, and software.
Reading and basic math skills for measurements and payments.
Minimum of 1 year in garage door sales and service
Currently employed by a reputable Garage Door company

Compensation Range: $100K - $300K
