Account Executive

C.Krueger’s Finest Baked Goods is a vertically integrated, omni-channel gourmet food gifting company specializing in made-from-scratch premium baked goods. Active in both the $42 billion U.S. consumer and corporate food gifting industry and the $1 trillion food service sector, we set ourselves apart through exceptional product quality, award-winning packaging, and impeccable customer service from start to finish. This position will play a key role in driving growth across the B2B channel—building strong relationships and helping bring our gourmet creations to more customers nationwide.

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Account Executive to drive revenue across prospects and existing clients using multiple platforms including phone, email, and LinkedIn. This role collaborates with internal teams to ensure product, packaging, and merchandising excellence that reflect C.Krueger’s premium brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities

· Account Management & Relationship Building: manage and grow an assigned book of business; act as the primary point of contact for client needs.

· Sales Growth & Revenue Generation: achieve or exceed assigned sales and margin goals; identify opportunities within assigned verticals to increase revenue; present promotions, new items, and seasonal programs.

· Partner with Sales Development Rep: collaborate closely to align strategy, share insights on prospects, and ensure appointments and Sales Qualified Leads drive successful opportunities and revenue growth.

· Order Management & Operations Coordination: process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently; partner with program customers to ensure accurate forecasting to optimize assortments, packaging, pricing, and inventory.

· Reporting & Performance Tracking: create and maintain detailed notes within Salesforce on Contact/Account/Opportunity pages; analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities; track KPIs including revenue, margins, and ICPs within verticals.

· Book of Business Development: prospect and onboard new customers within assigned verticals; develop strategic plans to expand market share -- present quarterly to senior leadership.

· Performance Expectations: strong customer retention and satisfaction; consistent revenue growth and margin growth; high level of professionalism and brand representation; and provide feedback to Product Development on customer trends, product performance, customer insights & needs, and new product opportunities.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing preferred.

· At least 2 years of sales experience (preferably in corporate gift-giving or CPG)

· Proven record of full-cycle sales success—prospecting, negotiation, closing, and exceeding assigned quotas.

· Strong financial acumen and analytical skills for margin and pricing management.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.

· Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in sales forecasting and reporting.
