Lead Baker / Senior Pastry Chef
Full-Time · Columbus, OH · Enchantea

About the Role

Enchantea is a premium matcha and tea-centered café reopening this fall in Columbus as Enchantea 2.0. We are building a full dessert and bakery program centered around seasonal collections, tea-inspired flavors, and elevated presentation.

We are looking for an experienced and self-directed baker or pastry chef to lead our bakery program. This is a senior role that requires someone who can own the kitchen, set the standard, and execute at a high level independently.

What You'll Do

Lead and oversee all daily bakery production
Execute and maintain recipes with precision and consistency
Supervise, train, and develop junior bakers and prep staff
Manage production schedules, prep lists, and inventory
Uphold kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and storage standards
Contribute to seasonal product development and menu direction
Build and maintain efficient production systems and SOPs

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3–5 years of professional baking or pastry experience in a commercial kitchen
Strong technical foundation across bakery and dessert production
Experienced in leading a kitchen team independently
High standard for consistency, quality, and presentation
Interest in tea-inspired or Asian-influenced flavors a strong plus
Reliable, punctual, and highly professional
Available for early morning shifts
