Full Job Description

FP&A Manager

Ohio Mulch Supply Columbus, OH

Ohio Mulch is seeking a highly analytical and strategic FP&A Manager to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and executive decision‑making across our growing family of companies. This role partners closely with the CFO, Controller, Operations, HR, and senior leadership to turn financial data into actionable insights that drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Forecasting — Build and maintain multi‑year financial models for revenue, expenses, cash flow, and capital planning.
Budget Leadership — Lead the annual budgeting cycle; coordinate with department heads to align budgets with company strategy.
Variance Analysis — Analyze monthly results vs. budget; identify drivers, risks, and opportunities; present findings to leadership.
Strategic Planning — Support long‑term planning, scenario modeling, and investment decisions.
Executive Reporting — Prepare dashboards, KPI reports, and board‑level financial summaries.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Partner with Operations, HR, and Sales to gather inputs and improve forecasting accuracy.
Process Improvement — Enhance reporting tools, streamline workflows, and improve financial visibility across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience.
Strong modeling skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑finance leaders.
Experience supporting multi‑location or multi‑entity operations preferred.
Manufacturing, distribution, or production‑based industry experience is a plus.
