HOW YOU WILL OUTSHINE

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Ensuring manpower is efficiently distributed and maintaining production schedules.
- Communicating production needs, quality, and general associate concerns in a timely manner.
- Conducting and overseeing on-the-job training.
- Monitoring operation of production lines ensuring efficient and quality output.
- Preparing reports and production-related paperwork.
- Troubleshooting machine problems and quality issues.
- Ensuring associate’s understanding of and adherence to company policies and quality standards.
- Filling in on the production line as necessary.
- Creating and controlling 2S3D environment
- Maintaining department targets & objectives (rejects rates, D/T, customer satisfaction, env. compliance).
- Controlling accuracy of inventory.
- Maintaining process controls of assigned areas (SOP, OCCs, CPC, etc.)
- Controlling hazardous materials and waste.
- Supervising multiple associates.

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You have 1 year of Team Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- You have a stable attendance history.
- You have problem solving experience using basic quality tools such as 5-why analysis, and fishbone.
- Ability to implement permanent countermeasures to recurring problems.
- Proofing mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- ISO knowledge (quality and environmental systems.
THESE QUALIFICATIONS ARE PREFERRED BUT NOT NECESSARY TO GET YOU STARTED:
- Coating and molding experience.
- Experience working in a JIT manufacturing environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Manufacturing Environment.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training.
- Required to work overtime (unplanned and unscheduled) to meet customer deadlines and requirements.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and run production processes
HAZARDS
- While performing the job the position is frequently exposed to moving or mechanical parts. Moderate noise levels with specific areas required to wear hearing protection.
- Chemicals/Solvents/Paints associated with the coatings industry. Flammable materials and hazardous waste.
